The reason I like taller guys is because the provide a sense of security and masculinity. I am a 5"7 girl who loves to wear 4-5 inch heels everyday, so when I see a taller guy, it deffinately holds more appeal to me.

Still that being said, I have no problem with short guys or equal height men ( like my current bf), the problem I find with most though is they are so insecure with their height that it can start to get annoying. They think women have such a huge issue with their height and yet they themselves are their biggest critics.

Whether your 5"2 or 6"7- own it. Confidence is sexy as hell

So yes, I like tall guys, and I'm 160 cm.

I like them because they have bigger hands, they make a nice shade for me when there's too much sun x) , they seem always so protective and a lot stronger than small guys...

I am quite tall for a girl being 5.11 so I tend to go for the taller guys, as I see them first ;). Plus I find it is easier to talk , hug and dance with guys taller that are taller than me. ALso a turn on for me personally is being hugged from behind and if a small guy did this to me I would find it a bit weird... But at the end of the day height doesn't effect how I feel for someone.

i'm 5'3" and my ideal guy would be at least 6ft, but honestly that's just a number and I probably wouldn't know the difference if I guy was 5'8" or 5'11". I just like a guy to be taller than me and I think most girls probably feel the same. Taller guys seem more dominant which is what I like and you feel like they can protect you

thinking abt it now, I actually realized that I can't really explain why because I think it's just a natural desire that most girls have. I don't consciously think abt a guy's height and it's correlation to his ability to protect me lol that's silly, I just wouldn't want a guy shorter than me...no concrete reasons for it. I prefer dating guys that are my height or a couple inches taller ( I am 5'9). I don't like being hugged by really tall men because every one I have ever hugged has done this annoying thing where they try to make me look short or they pick me up. Being about the same height as my boyfriend makes for easy kissing, hugging, dancing, and cuddling. If I had to choose a height I would say that 5'11 would be preferable.

And no, most girls would go for the attractive, successful (based on dress, car, etc.) and tall man if we're talking about first impressions. We go for taller in general because it's in our instincts to want a protector.

I guess I just like the idea of my guy being physically dominant. I don't only want a guy who's taller than me but also kinda muscular and lean. Me myself being small (5ft4) but slightly intimidating, I don't want my guy to feel intimidated by me at all. Also my dad is VERY intimidating, and if my guy isn't at-least as tall as him (5ft8) and hopefully taller I afraid that he'll probably get scared off.

I am quite short, only 5'4, and I absolutely love tall guys. I am from a family that is quite tall (all over 6'2, I don't know why I am so short) and I think it reminds me of them. I also feel very protected. It helps in crowds so I can find him easier. Haha that is really sad, but its true! And it also makes me feel more feminine when I am just dwarfed.
