Guys, Worst first date ever, was I wrong?

I've talked to this guy for a couple of months. He lives 3 hours away from me. Well on our first date he wanted me to come visit him, I did my choice. He planned on taking me out for the weekend. Got there Saturday was suppose to leave Monday. Everything seem fine Saturday we talked a little had some laughs. Then evening cones he said he didn't feel like going anywhere. I really didn't either exhausted from work and the trip. I stayed at his house. He was a complete gentlemen like he said he would be. He didn't try anything. I changed into my night clothes long pajama pants and a tank top. He goes , you got on granny pants, that pissed me off #1 I'm not your girl friend to be coming with sexy pajamas on. #2 I don't know you that well. #3 his house was about 20 degrees inside, mind you it's 40 degrees and raining outside and he would not turn up the heat, I'm freezing in there. I kept telling him that. So Saturday night I could not sleep because it was so cold. I told him that Sunday, he didn't seem to care. Sunday come along I made breakfast because he doesn't know how to make grits. He didn't talk much. He was supposed to take me wine tasting didn't happen. He went to his room to watch a golf game he said he didn't want to miss. Then he comes out to say we don't have a connection. I'm on his couch bored as hell falling asleep. I told him you don't have a connection he kept complaining saying I keep dozing off, well you get me to come there and you don't take me anywhere and go in the other room like I wasn't there. So I told him I'm ready to go home, he doesn't want me to go, so pissed , he kept asking me was I mad I said no, asked if wanted to take anything... NO. I had other plans, I could of stayed home. I packed my things didn't say nothing to him I put my earphones on walked out got in the truck. I left him sitting on the couch looking stupid and I did tell him he wasted my time I could of stayed home and went out. He did pay for my trip drove me to train.
