I am a very private person but my boyfriend is public. I met my boyfriend at work. I wanted our relationship to be private cause we work together (which isn't allowed), but I learned he's been telling people anyway. Now just one or two but several. Before we started dating he told everyone he liked me.

I think you should find another place to work. Any company that tries to influence it's employees personal life is not a good place to work at.

Part of the anxiety might be from that stupid company policy.

I don't think you should be too worried about him telling others. Most people won't care. Those that do care are probably going to be those that see you as friends.

It's a company H. R. policy problem. I suggest that you just find a way to move passed the issue. Your boyfriend's big mouth might be annoying, but H. R. has to know about romantic entanglements between coworkers because of how messy things get.
