ok it seems like this question wasn't worded correctly. Let me see if I can remedy that. I was asking in this modern society, where social media has such a presence... do men find themselves wanting women in real life who resemble those on social media handles. I'm not talking about pedo behavior... and for the women do you compare yourself to what society has set as the new social media beauty standard?
It depends what you mean by ordinary, she has to be in good health as well as having a nice personality and has to act like a woman (feminine).
I don't use Tik Tok so I don't have an accurate estimation on those type of girls, but I could assume they are some form of influencer/model type (like the girls on insta and YouTube).
Those girl are usually good looking... but the trade-off is usually a lack of personality as well as a chance of being selfish or even having a I'm better then you type attitude.
A guy that respects himself that is serious would prefer to deal with an ordinary looking girl with a great personality and good values.
Be careful not to get sucked up by the fake influencer girls online (remember... it's just online), DON'T COMPARE YOURSELF TO THEM they are fake, the attention they're getting from guys is just sexual (smash and pass) emulating their behaviours will give you the same problem and guys generally don't take those type of girls seriously (won't commit to a long-term relationship or marry them... well a guy that has his shit together won't).
Women have always put effort in appearance, its only last 20 years women have started putting less effort thanks to feminism, and not to mention being overweight or obese, which is nearly 65% of the population. The fact those instagram/tiktok girls are slim immediately have advantage over general female population.
I am honestly not sure what precisely do you mean by TikTok type girls, not to mention there is also a lot of fakeness there, like photoshoping. However yes I do prefer girls who put effort in appearance and look fine. Majority of men do prefer girls who put at least some effort in appearance, but I do prefer girls who look fine. So yes those TikTok/Insta girls would be my type.
Not to mention what would ordinary sweet girl would mean? If you mean overweight and frumpy then obviously no. Guys are bullshitting if they don't like girls making effort. Also majority of men prefer long hair, I thought that would be obvious.

There are different categories/people posting on tiktok: YouTube influencers, Instagram models, DIY/hacks, boyfriend/girlfriend breakups, Mom stories, and pranks.
I guess you are talking about the Instagram models or the teens that dance around. Here’s a reality shocker, those girls that you’re jealous of or want to be... they’re lonely and insecure like an average girl and they go on Snapchat/dating apps getting used and hurt. That some of them post up about their heartbreaks or problems.
So you want to be beautiful but really, you don’t want their life/problems.

I recently chopped off all my hair, and while my body was very similar to that girl's in the picture a year ago, it no longer is and I'm fine with that.
I don't feel self conscious, because I know that most of these girls spend hours on getting ready just for that one perfect tiktok that will make them go viral. No jealousy there.
I'm also not saying that anyone could do it, it takes a certain level of skill to entertain the masses with whatever trait you have.
I'm not someone who enjoys wearing makeup all the time or someone who loved fake nails, so I know my worth and just don't care!

What does prefer mean? If it means to have a short term or sexual relationship with then yes men would prefer because the girls on Tik Tok are attractive. However, when it comes to long term or even marriage then there would be much more apprehension because men know that such women are usually high maintenance. The large footprint and presence on social media mean lots of different men are trying to get her attention and it's only a matter of time until someone would come who is better than you in terms of looks, emotional intelligence or manipulation, and resources. Men usually do not like that much competition in the long term.
I think this society, online at least, is determined by these women and their beauty standards. But in person it COULD be handled differently. I wouldn’t know I don’t have enough time to date in person. I feel we’ve lost something important in today’s world. Accountability, responsibility, respect, communication… probably the biggest thing is purpose. This has led to men saying they just is not worth the squeeze for women. Sure most women are fuckable but I assume you want something more. So right now because in marriage men gain nothing but are almost guaranteed to eventually lose everything… that’s all women are good for to men at this time.

I’m not into women who overtly show their sexuality by the way she dresses, there is something off putting for me about that but I know other boys not men who are into that way of living. Finding women who value themselves as much as I value myself is getting increasingly harder to find. My girlfriend has big boobs and a fat ass while having a thin waist. she's pretty enough to get a following i think and would really kill if she wore makeup but she does not wear any makeup at all ever which is my preference. Im not a lesbian but these girls make me feel soo insecure. Its not their fault it’s i constantly compare myself to them.
I can't speak on your specifics because I don't know what you look like (nor am I asking as you're very young) but I do think women who are able to reflect on this as you are, are the ones who have the easiest time learning to love themselves and not feel as insecure.
@Buick9871 yes your right, i try to look at myself in the mirror everyday and say good things about myself so i feel more confident i hope that eventually i’ll become more confortable in my skin and stop comparing myself to people. I’ll just trust the process lol 😅
I think it's a great start if you're proactively taking steps to improve your self image. Shows you're moving in the right direction. Sorry I can't say more but I'd be talking out of my ass lol
I think this is something where you might benefit from hearing how other women (the ones now in their 30s or older) learned to love themselves. Their journey won't be your journey but maybe you'll have some of the same stops along the way, if that makes sense.
Last thing - I think you'd be surprised how many of the girls you compare yourself to are even more insecure about their looks than you are. Not saying anything against them, none of it is positive but at least you're humble enough to admit insecurity.
As it should! It doesn't sound bad at all. We all look at people who project images of having a better life than us and we don't always realize that in reality they're dealing with as much or more BS than us to maintain it.

I'm glad! Just remember - for a lot of these people, it's literally their job to present themselves as better than you, or "be hot for a living." Whatever skills you build and interests you develop instead of spending your entire day on makeup, skincare, lighting, ie vanity, will make you attractive to the right person for the rest of your lives (I was always bad at STEM so women who do biology/chemistry are just automatically more attractive to me) whereas when people like that lose whatever makes them superficially attractive (whether it's looks or money or whatever else) there's nothing interesting left about them. In other words by starting to refuse to get caught up in comparing yourself to others you're setting yourself up to be much more satisfied and fulfilled in the long run.
Ten years ago, 'Tik Tok girls' would be pornstars. Older than that, they would be Playboy models, prostitutes or strippers.

Yeah. It's one of the most important things that men want, but most of us don't realize it until we don't have it. And the more successful he gets, the more he tends to want it.
Basically, you want a woman to be the place where we can sit down the burdens and struggles of life. A place that's home. That's why nagging or pestering wives can be so emotionally frustrating for men, because they're already dealing with a lot of stress and then we go home hoping for peace and instead it's stressful as well. And then we don't get a break. We want to sit down our burdens around her, ease our mind and just relax into being in her presence.
I just prefer ordinary down to earth women. Preferably healthy. Easy to talk with and calm personalities. And manners. That's all a man can ask for surely. And vice-versa. The real meaning of nice. Life and society has always been stressful enough lol ... so, better to have relaxed partners 🤗
But when looking for a partner there are more things I look for.. If she doesn't has a booty or boobs.. I will still be willing to date, commit to her and marry her.. If she has those things that I like..

They do make me feel very insecure ngl. Although I am very feminine, have long hair, my body is skinny minnie Ariana Grande and Jennie Kim's type, that still doesn't seem enough if you keep watching Tik Tok more. Now I am always feeling down over the fact that I don't have blue eyes per say.
