Guys, why he responded to me after a day?

I texted one of my male friend stating that my ex boyfriend with whom I was in no contact for over 10 years suddenly texted me over instagram he was my first love and now suddenly he got back.

But my male frnd was online on wassup but yet he choose to reply to my text after a day which made me wonder why he responded to me after a day

Nothing odd with responding after a day. This isn't really a topic to discuss with guys. They don't do the emotional thing. If you disappear out of a guys life for ten years your back to square one. He knows that if she been gone that long, and shows up now, means she wants something. And whatever it is is bound to be a bad deal. You should treat your returning guy the same way. People only return after failure. That or it's something unrelated that just happened.
