Why hot guys are rare?

Even hot girls are but at least in my class both in high school and college there had been at least 2 or 3 cute girls. I see hot girls even when I go to parties so seeing them is not rare while I rarely see hot guys. Like my brother don't have any hot friend while my cousin who have many friend only have one good looking one. I rarely see them.
