Last night I thought I was looking and feeling really good, and I always thought guys liked to receive sexy photos from their girlfriends? he's my first real boyfriend.. I don't know. I went for it. I took a series of photos, some close up, some fully body. In sexy lingerie. I mean, I kinda went all out. I was really feeling myself... I sent them to him over Snapchat. This morning when he opened them, he didn’t show genuine appreciation.. He did tell me they were the best nudes he’s ever gotten but then followed by “These are like too good, I don’t even know what to do with them. Like it kinda makes me suspicious.” And now he has been giving me silent treatment all morning and says he doesn’t know if he can trust me.

Any ideas you have about what "guys like" you need to put aside. Any such observations are generalizations, and "men" are a ridiculously huge array of people. All that matters is who your boyfriend is, and you should either know him already or be getting to know him pretty well by being in a relationship with him.

How does he feel about sexual pictures? Does he like them? How does he feel about everything, really? Are you making assumptions instead of asking him?

Try not to do that! People aren't that simple. I personally hate nudes and sexual photos and would never want to receive anything like that from my girlfriend. I'd prefer to keep that to the bedroom and keep the bedroom separate from the rest of our life. Some people aren't like that. That's okay. But the only way to know that or anything else about your boyfriend is to ask and to observe.

If you guys have different priorities, perhaps it's not the best relationship. If you guys are willing to adapt some places, then perhaps you can make it work. But communication is key.

Yeah thinking your girl's cheating when she just sent some quality nudes is pretty weird, like most guys would love waking up to that, I know I would. Try talking to him about it and explaining how you were feeling and why you decided to share with him, if he doesn't get it by then he may just feel weird about high quality nudes for some reason.
