Well what body type do you like and why?

Growing up I was always (hypocritically) told by my parents that "no one ever wants to marry someone who's fat", yet my mom has this body type.
So did my dad's mom, and most of my aunts on both sides of the family.
Then Dad found a girlfriend after mom passed, and she's a big girl too.
So I'm just confused as to why they all would say things like that when it's what their partners look like.
So, now that I'm aging, my body type has been gradually looking more like my relatives (and the figurine) my confusion has increased because I still get compliments (and advances) from strangers, and I'm dating a guy that prefers big girls.
And since it's such an unpopular preference, and so many reasons why it's unpopular, I want to hear from men that are attracted to this body type and why.

As far as what body type I like, I don't go by physical appearance. Not because my choices are few, but because there are many (which surprises the shyt out me). For example, I've always gone for a man's good attitude, manners, hygiene, etc, not by his weight or body type.
I've been hit on by men of all sorts of body types from short n fat, to talk n skinny, from stacked n toned, to chubby n thick.
So it makes me wonder if I really don't look as bad as my family says I do.

Im the the poster but i have an opinion. Its about expectations. Im assuming your a more typical woman. So when did you decide to be attracted to normal earning men and not very wealthy men? Ofc thats not everything but surely its a good feature, one which you gave up on making it very important in finding a mate partially because maybe its unrealistic... not enough men worth 100 million exist. So its similar that i think some men can't get or believe they cannot get a hot woman and they say subconsciously ehh fuck it i just want someone who loves me and makes me laugh... and once they are comfortable with that decision they now "like" big women. Just like how you like average earning men just fine. But now if a guy just as good as any other man who happened to be rich... wouldn't that still be desirable? And if a supermodel who was just as sweet and nice as any other girl met dude, would he be excited to date her? I bet he would.

As you can see by the majority of replies, my body type is gross, repulsive etc. Which is the way I've seen myself since early childhood.
As I entered my 30's, interactions changed to the opposite, but I still felt the same old way n still do.
So I guess now I'm dissonant cuz if I'm as gross as I've been told, how the heck could anyone ever possibly be attracted to me.
