My ex boyfriend opened car door for me and treat me good during reunion, is it weird?

so i have an ex that i dated back then in hs. sometimes he would contacted me or asked my friend how i'm doing right now. sometimes i ignore it and told my friend to not to tell him anything about me. yesterday i went to a reunion and my ex called me, maybe we could went there together and i said okay. i brought my car and picked him up. after we arrived on parking lot, i told him to go in first, so i thought he already went to the building but instead i found him opened the car door for me. actually it's kinda awkward for me, he held the door while smiling so wide and told me to get off. not only that during the event, he kept eyeing me even asked me who i'm talked to when i'm on my phone. am i the only one who find it weird?

I wouldn't read too much into it. It's courtesy and some men are gentlemen and that's how they always are. If you're no longer interested in getting back together with him, don't lead him on or cut the small talk. You have now the choice to ignore him for good and not be bothered by it. nah, because my parents like him, i already said we're break up, but my father kept asking him, why we 're not together anymore. i don't want to fight with my fam, i even moved out so he won't find me and of course away from my fam. Actually the reunion took place when I visited my parents' house. last my country is suck, the police won't even proceed about stalker, they'll said to us to ignore them, glad ur country do better than mine.
