Am I being unappreciative? to my boyfriend who went to my work place just to hug me?

I got done w my work when my boyfriend was waiting for me (which I didn't know) at my work place. The reason he was there just to hug me and leave.

Now, most people the lovers would just get them after work and bring them home. What he did made me feel like…its useless and wasted my minutes when I could have walked with my friend to go on our commute together.

He then called me a brat and I’m not sure if he was kidding or not but I am so tired to even fight back or say something so I just said goodbye and walk away.

Am I unappreciative? I dont really need a hug…
