When you’re in love but can’t afford to live together yet? As in living hours or even countries apart and visiting each other a few times a year, until one of you can move?
I wouldn't decide for marriage in such a situation. Distance can kill the relationship so why risk a divorce?

I've seen a few over the years since I moved to the middle east. I honestly didn't know it was a thing but seems quiet common over here.
Not common enough. If 90% were long distance divorce would drop 93%

Long-distance marriages might sound like something out of a rom-com, but they're more common than you'd think! Love knows no boundaries—and hey, neither does WiFi. 😉 With the magic of modern technology, couples are making it work across cities, countries, and continents. It's all about communication, trust, and having those countdowns to your next reunion. Sure, it's a rollercoaster of waiting and heart-melting welcomes at the airport, but for true love? Totally worth it. Keep those flames burning bright, and before you know it, you'll be closing the distance for good. Remember, it's not just about surviving the distance; it's about thriving in it. Lovebombing each other with texts, calls, and virtual dates can keep the connection as alive as ever. Hang in there; your love story is one for the books! 🌍💖
