How do I make my boyfriend wear deodorant?

Literally love my boyfriend. he's everything i ever asked for.

he doesn't like wearing deodorant but he's a very clean guy overall. even cleaner than i am. he says his skin is sensitive so he says he doesn't wear it. i dont mind his smell but sometimes i just wish he wore deodorant.

There are times when he stinks up the whole room and im just like._. lol

any ideas on how to say it without actually saying it?

Ask him how he would feel if you both went out on a date and you dressed in a way that embarrasses him. Say you feel the same about his smells -- don't talk about how it doesn't bother you much! Tell him you heard about unscented deodorant like Mitchum Men's Antiperspirant & Deodorant Gel Unscented. Tell him there's lots of stuff you do to make yourself attractive and you're only asking him for ONE thing. Maybe he'll go for it.

The best time for you to deal with this was very early in the relationship. As time goes on he has less reason to think it matters to you.

big update: yesterday we went to target and he was like "i need body spray" and he got the same deodorant brand/spray that I use and today in the morning he sprayed himself lol. I dont know if he saw this post or I don't know but i didn't tell him anything at all. this has been going on for months too hahah.

nah its dove. same one i use but men. i checked the aluminum and its 20% so its the highest it can go.

there is no way to truly be "nice" about it. just try being gentle in your tone of voice and demeanor. other than that, just sit down and discuss it fairly bluntly. be reassuring as you do. got a roommate that i had to do that with. also had a coworker that me and anothet coworker are friends with that we both sat diwn and had to do this with too. both times the person felt a little touchy at 1st but once they seen we/I was/were not coming from it to be negative/mean, it worked out fine. both now regularly use deoderant.

i think he knows he's aware of when he smells bc usually every time he smells or something he showers or he's like “i smell sweaty lemme shower”. see? he's a really clean guy its just that Lol.

he asked me once in the very beginning if he smelled and i panicked said nah. lol

i love dove products and I've found a deodorant thats 0% aluminum. the thing with him is is that he's really stubborn so there's that. another idea i have is probably venturing into a target one day and going to the guy isle to smell guy deodorants Lol and being like “i like this take it”

I was allergic to some deodorants and would break out in a rash. A found a deodorant that I am not allergic to. I tried several. If I don’t wear any my wife says “You smell ripe”. I guess that is a hint. Just tell him nicely.

Speed Stick regular deodorant. I found that the antiperspirants like Mitchum gave me a rash. Also, the Speed Stick is inexpensive and has a pleasant smell.

Tell him to either get spray deodorant (works less sometimes) or just tell him he plain stinks like wtf.. guys like hearing the raw truth it's females who think they don't want to hurt feelings, trust me it'll help you both in the long run.

I used to have a roommate that smelled really bad. Whenever I walked by him I held my breath and sprayed the air with Febreeze. It was my way of telling him that he reaks. Maybe you can do something similar?
