Depends what industry you work for , the organisation structure like is it matrix or talk hierarchy. Is it private or governmental.

If you worked with men like that , you should look for a different company or one where people are less likely to have egos. Unfortunately, a lot of men are insecure and if you remind them of their insecurities by acting like you don’t like them they may naturally take a disliking to you which sucks. But that’s on them not you unfortunately all you can do really is try and work in an industry whereby the kind of men aren’t egotistical or they aren’t your boss etc

These guys mostly aren't my bosses lol. One did get promoted though a few months ago but thankfully he's not my direct boss and now o barely see him. But i work retail

Oh yeah retail is one of the worst for that kind of thing. It’s also one of the worst for redundancies.

It’s not bad for a student , but other than that. Work places like that whereby you may join and there’s a clicky friendship circle of employees and your like the outsider. Might find a lot of “arseholes” that if you hurt there by making them feel like they can’t have you then they will judge you but that’s there problem. Again it’s the industry. Low skilled workers you will find a variety of characters. Because there’s such a diverse workforce.

I think that specially at work, you should try to keep it discrete, and very subtle. being flirtatious at a workplace, specially for girls can bring rumors about you that will make you sad. be natural, discrete and yourself of course. being more discrete attracts responsible guys.
