How did it effect me to spend almost all my teen and adult years witout socialising?

i am behind in experience with people because i was homeschooled since high school and haven't had any friends since middle school really. And i am in my late twenties and still no friends.

There's a lot of people just like you out there. At my church, I was surprised to see normal dudes who were funny that told me they had no friends. This is becoming very common. Yeah, I’m Christian. It’s funny you bring that up about social media. I just watched Mark Zuckerberg presentation on the meta verse. I could only imagine the social ramifications that will have on society. James 1:4(LB) tells us to not run away from our issues, but rather use hardship to grow. Imagine a world in which people can create an online avatar and escape their imperfections and live their life out through a facade? The enemy would have a field day with someone who gets sucked into that.

My friends either left the school or just ignored my existence all a sudden. I just resigned to sitting alone at lunch from then on. I was extremely depressed about it all.
