If you heard a forgetful man whine in a loud voice because his girlfriend called him 4 times during his video game, what would you think?

In this scenario, based on his past history, calls on his phone go unnoticed because he leaves his phone in a different room or he doesn't notice who's calling and assumes it's not important. Then he unlocks his phone and forgets there's any history of someone calling and doesn't call back. His girlfriend tried reminding him of this that it was only to capture his attention and suggested that he could text back if he was in the middle of something to stop receiving calls. However he was in a video game. I think he could answer and mention that and continue with his video game.

However, I would still be questioning the girlfriend in this situation. Like why is she calling me so much to get my attention, does she not have her own friends, her own hobbies, does she even work? Or is she just Clingy.

I understand that it is just play video games. However, it is a hobby he enjoys and he gets invested into doing it. Honestly though, it is very clingy and weird to call someone this many times, for it not to be an emergency, just because he didn't respond to your text right away.

The 2nd paragraph and beyond is regarding to the situation at hand. That is my first sentence ended with, "girlfriend in this situation". I did misspoke about certain things. However, phone calls or texts, if you are calling someone repeatedly or non stop texting them just to get their attention, are signs someone is very clingy. It adds to much pressure to the partner who isn't clingy and just pushes them away further rather then bringing them in closer. It is very important that partners get chances to have time to themselves, and get a chance to miss their significant other, this makes the times you 2 have together even sweeter. Constant calling and or texting destroys that and just adds pressure to the relationship.

I think if she knew why her call wasn't being answered, she would stop calling.

I have ignored calls and texts during game play. But I do make effort in between sessions or matches to at least send a text. If I'm in VR the world is usually ignored until I am done as putting on and taking off the gear is a pain and a hassle (but vr is worth it).

Have patience, calm down. Talk it over with your SO out side of game time and reach a genuine middle ground.
