For me, I'm short and don't work out that much, so a reasonably athletic girl should be stronger than me. It's just strength and muscle in general that get my attention, but because I'm short and weak, it's more likely that a stronger girl will outperform me. I know there are plenty of men who still want to be the powerful one and protect their girl, but I wanna know how exactly common it is for men to want a girl who's stronger than they are.

Most of the men I know, like women that are smaller than them, including me. I'm 6'1, and I once met a woman that was taller than me in heels, and it was an instant turnoff. I can't really explain it, but it just feels masculine to me.
Are there some that like Amazon women like yourself? Sure. But not many.
My sister once tried setting me up with one of her friends, she was nice and pretty, but not my type, and didn't want to hurt my sister's friends, so I never dated her. She wasn't huge, but about 5'9 maybe.
Then she met a short, nerdy, kind of chubby guy that I found out through my sister, shares the same love of BIG women like yourself. He explained to this woman that he wanted to her to be so big that she could hold him in the palm of her hands.
She tried her best to accommodate his desires, buying big high heels and other things, but you better believe that she and her friends all think it's weird as hell, have never heard of that, and make fun of it all the time. That being said, they seem happy for now.
I often find that it's the small or super skinny men that have this fetish. Why that is, I don't know. Maybe it has something to do with never feeling dominant themselves, so they prefer to be in the submissive role. Or maybe subconsciously they want their kids to be bigger, so they think having a big wife will offset their smallness?
I often wonder how this desire comes up in men like yourself. It's very strange to me.

And admittedly, I actually DO prefer the submissive role and I do want to have a family one day. Okay, very uncommon. Most men are inherently stronger than women, just because of basic physiology.
Back about 12 years ago, the Women's Olympic Soccer Team that won metals played an exhibition game with a high school boy's soccer team, and the boys beat them.
And look the issues of transexual women playing sports in female sports. The women simply cannot compete with them.
And a woman can turn herself into an Amazon Woman, and have the muscles. She is still outmatched by most men. She might hurt him, but she will have a rough time if she can get the jump on him.
So let's say she is very strong. Most men are going to look at her as she-man. Guys are not turned on by that. They might so her to see what she is like in bed, as an experience, but I don't see many short of Rex Quondo. Men also don't get excited about an overly ambitious and highly educated woman for the same reason.
The young guys see value on earnings potential, but most learn if they marry her, does not get her money. She will spend and invest in the home and vacations. But you won't see too many women supporting a man. Maybe if she is older and wants to keep her toy around when she gets home.
I don't think its uncommon I just think that it's hidden. It's not so easy for a man to admit that he is into being dominated by a woman he will be seen by society as pussy. Both male and female. Esp if he has a group of friends that are predominantly dominate and talk about how they pounded there girl into next week and got into a fight with this guy and beat the shit out of him. I know men who have been and are going through this. They are penalized within thier circle for who they are so they pretend to be someone else/something else because they feel they have to. It's in my answer when a friend makes a comment about how many girls he has been with. He is bragging the group is expected to follow suit with similar stories. The guy I know didn't do that he explained he would prefer her to do all the work. I dunno. But I *think* my boyfriend is like this. He likes tall girls (I’m 5’8” and he’s 5’9”) and always crack cute jokes about me being a “strong armed” because sometimes I maybe sit thing down or close doors with “force”. But I do have a history of weight lifting so I do believe I am stronger than a typical woman, but still have my soft feminine touch. Well, lucky him! And usually from what I've seen, tall girls are insecure about their height. It's always some shit like "I feel big", "I don't feel feminine", and all that bullshit. I'm a short guy with no height problems, by the way.
I’m not sure to be honest. I never had an issue with my height, I've always liked how I looked physically. I assume taller women that are insecure about being tall struggle with some form of body dysmorphic disorder. Also, they could have been bullied about their height which led to a negative self image. I just thank Moses and the Red Sea that I do not have those issues and neither does my boyfriend 👏🏽

Its not so common for men to accept a women stronger than them. Its a normal male behavior , having strong and muscular women is threat to their musculinity and also the society stereotype dont let it accept. Its all about the culture and the mindset.
Iam married for 10 years and i never considered to have a wife physically stronger than me. 6 years back my wife got into bodybuilding and she has been training since. Now she is physically much more stronger and muscular than me, which i never imagined. But i had to accept the truth , its her years of hardwork and dedication. She had that discipline to transform herself. Not everyones cup of tea.
For sure her physique makes her now more of dominant. I have been submitting to her since few years. A female led relationship is not so common and not accepted, i always get lot of reactions and comments from people around.

Because she is not only beautiful but friendly, which is not a common combo. So most guys get really enchanted by that, which is understandable. Even I did when we first got to know each other, but then I was also getting into a relationship with another girl around that time and she was all I could think about, so my friend has remained my friend. To this day lol.
It's one thing for a woman to be physically strong and able to be athletic or do something that requires that strength, but I don't actively seek it out. I like my women strong to a degree, but not in the sense I want her to fight battles for me or do manly things for me. I want that to be because it's a passion for her and she is independent enough to do that for herself.
I prefer to be strong for my own needs and to be able to fight my own battles and for her so she doesn't have to. God forbid something happens to me and I am out of the fight for a minute at least she can hold her own long enough for me to get back in and take control.
Now in terms of how common it is for guys that like this, I couldn't tell you. I don't actively look for threads or topics of guys that like that kind of style or women. I personally don't know of any outside of you.
In regards to that last part, there is a whole subreddit full of guys like that called R/RoleReversal, but the premise of that is people having traditional roles of the opposite gender. But I don't know exactly how many guys genuinely want that in a relationship.
Well, like I said I didn't actively look for it so I have no idea how common it is. Personally I don't see how the opposite roles work and balance out. From my perspective if I was in that position looking for a woman who acted more like a masculine individual, it almost seems like I am looking for a mother, not a lover or a partner.
Honestly I don't think it is all that common. Guys tend to like feminine women, and a women who can physically dominate you doesn't come off as been the most feminine to a guy. I am not saying there are not guys out there that fine it very sexy, but you asked how common is it, and I just think those types of guys are very common.
But if she's hot and sexy then yeah, I would get into it... but not sure how much I would like it or how long it would last. But I wouldn't discount the possibility off hand.

Nope. I'm 6'3. Ideal height for my partner is 5'4-5'6. I like my 5'4 girlfriend and she mentioned that she was short early in our conversations. I can, have and will continue to take guys double, triple my size using technical fighting skills like ju jitsu it doesn't matter how strong he is. Not anymore. You use the technique so quick in no time your pulling his arm back in pain he ain't getting up and he will be forced into submission. Coz he will feel like he is losing his arm. And it isn't difficult. Because of this mentality its made even easier for me to be successful in my take downs. Yes you are a guy and yes you are stronger. It doesn't matter. If your a trained fighter as a woman and you have the right technical skills it's game over. You can keep your strength. It gets you no where if she has those types of skills. Biology won't save you if she knows what she is doing and you ain't got the first clue what's happening all you know is your on the floor in pain. If she can't fight and most can't then yes but if your trained and know how to use leverage his strength you can turn it all around on him. So a woman doesn't need strength. But she does need to be trained.
Conceptually, I'm not attracted to stronger girls, but I don't think I'm unattracted either.
Visually, it mostly comes down to the shoulders. "Muscular" girls can get to the point where their shoulders look broad and mannish, and that's quite unattractive to me. But other than that, they have to teach grotesque body builder proportions before musculature starts to bother me.
Not sure where people who comment that "it is common" get their information from, but if it is so common as they make it out to be, then how come society doesn't push women to be just that rather than looking fit, groomed, delicate and feminine? It is often of the way they were raised. Well, what do you have to say about the guys who AREN'T feminine due to social engineering? I do agree that feminism is hurting our men and boys now, but I don't think every single man should be masculine if they genuinely don't want to be.
@TomGarand Anything that goes against one's own happiness should be avoided. If someone is genuinely happy being more feminine, then they should be just that. That rule applies to men (like myself) who are more happy being masculine.
I like fit, trim and fairly strong/athletic women. I don’t think I’d care for one stronger than me. I wouldn’t care about the strength. I’m just pretty fit and strong guy already. So, she’d have more muscle mass than I prefer.

No, I don't think so, men are visual and a good body is a good body. Strength isn't the reason. So aslong as the body remains attractive and not going to the extreme end. You will have no problem to attract men even if your stronger.
