Why does he joke around with everyone but me?

He jokes around with everyone else all the time and jokes back when others jokes around with him. People always say how funny he is. But yet when I tried to joke with him, he didn't seem amused and stayed serious when couple mintues ago he was joking around the others I was with. Any clues on maybe why he doesn't with me?

So this is my theory. People who makes jokes always do it to forget about something in their life and be happy in the moment. And seeing you and talking to you makes him realise he is living a life of lie and doesn't wanna do that with you. Or he just hates you, which is less likely because then he would've made your life a living joke.
