Why are reactions to groin kicks in movies exaggerated?

Because I was watching a movie with my sister and my boyfriend. And we saw the good guy get kicked by a bitch and I was just yelling "get up and fight" 😁
I raged they made him stay to the floor 🤬 It was so unrealistic because he was strong and handsome 😍
My sister said it unfortunately was realistic reaction so we asked my boyfriend 😂.
He said he wouldn't react that way, it is truly exaggerated but he didn't know why 🤷‍♀️

So why? why did they made it so bad for the good guy? 😭

He immediately rolled off massaging himself in pain she was quick and pinned him before ref could call it to halt the match. She won in under 2 minutes and when she won he was on the ground holding himself for almost 3 minutes before he got up.


3rd match he got hit he was on top controlling her with his ass facing me and took a heel from below it was a direct hit to his dangly bits and I knew it was over right then as I saw it make contact with his balls. He rolled off moaning and couldn’t get up for almost 5 minutes. He got recovery time but it still floored him for 5 minutes sadly he barely lost on points bc he was so sore there. Wrestlers don’t wear cups either obviously so it is devastating to them


In the movie she just got lucky and got him accurately just like these girls did to this sexy hero I know irl. He wins most of his matches against girls and it doesn’t happen often but when it does even if it’s light it floors him every single time.


I’d argue that the more tough or masculine a guy is it will hurt him even more because bigger balls produce more testosterone but are also very sensitive. It was acting but in a real fight if the kick is accurate he’s definitely go down.

A really hard kick will not just put a man on the floor for 30 seconds of screen time. He'll be unable to move for up to half an hour, all while suffering unbearable pain.
