For me in Casino when Joe Pesic uses the hammer on the cheater.

There was a movie called "Creepshow". Which is a collection of short horror stories. And there was this one story where you had this guy that was a "neat freak" like OCD neat. His entire apartment was white and he was always complaining to the Super because everything had to be perfect. And one night during a storm he saw a roach and he kills it and freaks out because he's so OCD then he sees another then another and so on. Finally roaches just start coming out of every nook and cranny and drain pipe. They overtake him and go in his mouth, nose, ears etc. And I guess eat him from the inside out. Then the all scurry back to thier hiding places like nothing happened.

I was like 7 when that movie came out in 1982 so I've hated roaches and anything even resembling a roaches ever since.🤣

The hammer scene is not with Joe Pesci, but he has several other brutal scenes, including his own demise. I can say, the older I get, the less I want to see excessive violence.
