This guy who is 18 years old seems as though he wants me to see him as a man when I jokingly called him a kid. He also said that i'm not that much older than him even though we are 7 years apart which I think is a pretty significant age gap. I think he maybe has a crush on me, but i'd like some opinions about this.

18 years old is not a child. I dated 18 years old one when i was 20. Am i a pedo now lol. Ok if you are under 21 you are still developing and your personality is still unstable etc but you are not like a kid at that age. I dont know there are many guys in their mid 20s who date 18-19 years old girls. Leonardo dicaprio is in his 40s or 50s but only date girls under 25 or timothy chalamet who in his mid 20s date women in their 30s. If the guy was 21 and you are 27, the age gap would not be a huge problem for you i guess. I dont know lol. Sorry for this confusing reply

He might. Really depends on how he acts around you. Is he flirty? He may be mentioning the age difference or lack thereof (in his view) to justify it to you.
