Guys how will you react if your girl best friend makes adult jokes?

I recently made an adult joke my guy best friends reaction was weird like he just said "ohh u are ashlil 🥰" [ashlil means obscene in hindi ](note :this is his exact reaction along with the images)
and that was too offensive for me because usually he makes tons of adult jokes and me making such a joke was obscene
so ill be ghosting him for a few days lol im upset

I get the impression that in your culture there may be a double standard for the way men and women behave, in terms of expressing sexual ideas. It sounds like your friend did not approve of you making sexual jokes due to this double standard. It is also possible that he has a crush on you. If that is the case, maybe he didn't know how to react appropriately because he was overly excited by you talking about something sexual.

Perhaps it's a cultural thing. I dated an Indian girl and the cultural stigmas surrounding how she should "act" as a lady, was quite astounding. Not sure how Indian girls get through the tradition and pressure.

My guess your friend probably likes you a bit more than a "friend" and your adult jokes probably shocked him into thinking differently about you.

I'd say likely he's messing with you. Otherwise, if he has the opinion that it's not proper for girls to speak like that regardless or not if it's actually true; he is a hypocrite. If she is not to speak like that, then he should not be speaking in front of her like that. If he does believe you shouldn't speak that way, then he has been disrespecting you by speaking that way in front of you.

Not sure if I’m correct but it could a cultural thing. You said it’s in Hindi, have plenty of friends from other cultures they wouldn’t make those jokes but here where I’m from it’s just pretty normal

same problem with me. whenever a guy makes an adult joke everyone laughs but when a girl does it everyone gets quiet. I don't know i think women/girls are more expected to be "very pure" in some cultures (including mine)

Well since you said "girl best friend" my assumption is we've known each other for a while and so I know her pretty well. So I would find it humorous. Because deep down I know what type of person she is. But if she wasn't a best friend of mine I would think she was trash.
