Does feminine hygiene product makes men uncomfortable?

I noticed male cashier looks uncomfortable when ringing up pads, tampons and liners. Why? Also some men likes to see female hygienic products

Its like the first time you are buying a condom or something for your girlfriend's period. The first few times you'll feel awkward and hide. After a while you'll give the cashier that shit eating grin like "Oh yeah, I am getting some this week!".

And as for the hygiene products, you normally get a smile from both men and women for obviously helping out as a guy. Girls needing them? Pretty obvious.

He's just new. Just pat yourself on the shoulder for having probably been a minor help towards his future girlfriend/wife/alike.

I don’t care about woman’s products. I just don’t like super in depth conversations about periods. It’s ok to say oh I’ve got cramps and don’t feel well, but some girls really lay it on thick and it’s not a comfortable conversation for all men. It’s like a man telling a woman about his penis and it’s many happenings in an unsolicited conversation. Or like an unexpected dick pick. It’s similar in some ways.

It never bothers me. I think some men are more worried because they are thinking something like "pretend you didn't see that. Don't comment on her purchasing tampons"

I don't want you bleeding all over the place so no. Cashier is weird. I also never understood why some men are uncomfortable buying tampons for their girlfriends/wife. The cashier obviously knows it's not for them lol
