Why does he make the situation awkawrd. His awkard intraction make me uncomfortable?

He is senior to me and he is also married. I treat him very respectfully. I take my course lesson from him. He acts normally when we are in a group, he does not act anything abnormal. He is very confident with me. But when I interact with him for my study issues he acts awkawrd and I feel uncomfortable. I am ordinary looking girl and I behave politely and respectfully with him. This sounds like he might find you attractive and just isn't good with girls and he tries hard to hide, thus the awkwardness.

I'm not saying he is looking to cheat, he probably is just trying to ensure he doesn't show his attraction and thus he over-compensates.
Alternatively his marriage could be having problems and perhaps he likes you, but is in a difficult place.
