Why does he act this way?

There's this guy. he likes me and he recently was pursuing me for a while. however, he got mad at me over something stupid. He got upset that i would always talk and laugh with this other guy in class. Ever since then he's mad at me. he's pissed almost like he hates me or something. Anyways there's this new girl. She walks in my class every day to go deliver something and the guy that used to like me is now pursuing her. He checks her out a lot and ill admit she's perfect. Anyways that same guy overheard a conversation I was having with my friend about her boyfriend an how she shouldn't go back with him if she doesn't trust him. Well that guy that liked me jumped up really quick and decided to change his attitude towards me. He doesn't look at the girl anymore nor does he try pursuing her. However, I know he wants to I can tell just by looking at him how much he wants her. And I'm confused and hurt. I thought he liked me but i can't tell anymore by the way he looks at her, flirts with her etc. he's pursuing me but I don't know why. Im just curious why is he doing this. Why did he pursue her if he liked me or why did he pursue me if he liked her. Im just lost and confused.

He was interested in you, but then you flirted with another guy in front of him. He got jealous and pissed, then pursued another girl that he became interested in. He's still probably not attracted to you anymore because it's a turn off for a girl you like to be with another guy.

But if that’s the case does that mean he never really liked me at all cause I don’t see how you could get over someone that quick. Like how could he. Also does that mean he liked the other girl more then me. That girl is a hoe in my opinion so I don't know how he thought I was bad and she was nice

You're falling for a common misconception that women have about men:
Just because we're interested in you, that doesn't mean we're obsessed with you. We can also change our minds. We're free agents. You're not entitled to anyone's interest.

If you want a man to commit to you, you have to reel him in while you have him on the hook. If you fail to crank the reel, that's your own fault. You had him, and you let him slip away. You have no one to blame but yourself.

The fuck it sounds like you have some personal issues regarding women? How the hell did I mess up? I did nothing wrong it seems like you don’t want to accept accountability for your own wrong doing and cleaning up the mess you made.
