Is it normal to be scared to sit down on a bench in public?

im scared cos i dunno where to look or what to do, and i feel like people are judging me like im weird for sitting so frozen still like a statue, or they will think im jus sitting there for attention or something like i want people to see my pretty face which ain't even pretty,

even if my legs are killing il jus walk more until i get to my destination cos im scared to sit on a bench

Sounds like you imagining trouble because you don't have the experience.
In general people don't care about other people out in public, especially if they are just sitting by themself. Do you ever look at people and judge them badly for just being there?
But I can give you some suggestions if you want to go for it one day. Well, you just sit and relax, no need to actually do something. But else you can do something on you phone, or read a book. Drink some water, have a snack..

ok thanks, il try it more, i tried it earlier actually but i felt kind of awkward, didn't feel like it helped with my confidence but made it worse

maybe you sense people staring because you think too much about the other people? Need to distract thoughts about others more, with whatever activity works best for you.. as said, maybe a book, a game.. listen to music..

Logically there is no need to fear however if you have social anxiety or insecurity, then it's understandable

Just wear earphones and ignore the humans around you. They can't do a shit to someone who ignores them
