Why do men who say they like natural girls prefer girls with makeup and aesthetics?

I don't know. I never said or thought that and perhaps mainly since I spent my adult life in fashionable areas; practically all women wore make-up. I sometimes wonder if they can't tell the difference? Or maybe it's not as big of a deal to them as they say if the girl is wearing cosmetics.

Perhaps in some cases, they prefer women of which many wear cosmetics (ex: ones who care about their appearance), but they would prefer if they didn't have cosmetics still.
