He keeps glancing at me?

There is this guy in my PE class that I noticed keeps looking at me. He makes very heavy eye contact whenever he sees me walk in and and when we are doing our PE activities (like tennis) he frequently turns his body my way and looks at me fleetingly, then looks away. Whenever i try to hold the eye contact, he looks away. Then other times, like in the hallway in between classes he will deeply stare at me, and it's got me so confused. Is he interested? No? Yes? It's giving mixed signals.
