Missxarriages, do guys feel the same?

Pregnant by the ex. Told him I was pregnant and he was just speechless not happy or anything. I miscarried at about 8 weeks. I told him he swears he's okay but he hides his feelings a lot. Do miscarriages effect the men as much as it does women? This would have been our first. Neither of us have kids.

It is possible to be just as if not more bothered by it but its not the same. A man is never going to know what it feels like to lose a pregnancy directly.
