Guys, As a man is bonding with your kids important to you personally?

Okay, so when it comes to men, Kids and Bonding is almost unheard of, there's a lot of negative stereotypes about men and Parenting, which scares men off from having kids. usually when the baby is born the Mom doesn't allow the dad to get close to baby u til the kid is at least 3 weeks old

I was there from the day my son was born. I was waiting in the nursery at the hospital for him while my wife recovered from her C section. I was changing diapers, carrying him and didn't sleep much for 3 days.
I became so attached to our son in the following years that my wife sort of resented it. She used to be my number one priority and now our baby was. I left working full-time and cut my hours back to part-time so we could both work and share in the childcare. I had found my purpose in life being a father. I took our son's health, safety, and happiness as my personal responsibility.
I made sure to give him time outs and also sit with him and explain every situation until he understood it. Over time the bond with my son grew strong, he loved me, trusted me and my wife was the one who kind of turned out to be an absentee parent.
She spends more time with him now that he's a teenager because we're split up and coparenting.
To this day I still have a great relationship with my son, and I never regret taking the time to bond with him. He's the greatest blessing.

The real world isn't as jagged, I'll do more for my children. Besides buddying them up like the baby boomer, I'm going to instill morals, teach strength, muck around and play with them, teach them dangers and safety as well as to use common sense all the way. If my kids don't even turn out alright, I'm a failure as a person and that sticks to me personally.
