So I don't have good perception on if someone has feelings or not. Anyway he's our maintenance guy and when we were talking he was facing towards me, but his eyes seemed kind of intense when he was talking to me, he also didn't smile then. when I started talking he looked away and seemed almost like he didn't care what I had to say he didn't respond to what I was saying g so I walked away. wasn't close enough to check his pupils or trying to be creepy and look lol. My gut feeling says he does but sometimes I don't know. He was working on my truck and he was kneeling down and turned his head and looked right at me as i was walking by, he just keep looking no smile or anything. I got a coat from work and he helped me put it on and he fixed the sleeves and kind of toutched my shoulders, he grabbed the box and through it away. He use to stand really close to me or walk close to me. He kind of keep his distance now. Not sure if he's trying to stay away. I'm also not going to ask him or act on it because I'm gay and he's very into his religion and I do believe he was married to a women at one time and he's also a lot older than myself. Also how can I tell if he does for sure, I do like the guy but I don't want to show him i do if he doesn't or is against it.

I wouldn't go for it. Usually older men would be really insulted by being hit on by another guy. I don't mean to say that to make you feel bad.

They're from a generation where they're really against it and insulted by it. They're not like millennials, generation z or alpha where it's like normal.

If he's from generation x or a baby boomer, he'll be taken aback. It might ruin your friend or anything that you have going on. When he helped put your coat on, I was like woah what the heck. Like no one does that anymore.

Then when I read he's older, I was like ohhh... That makes sense. I think he's a straight guy, trying to show respect or some small kindness to a stranger.

Sorry, I presume it's hard to find a guy who is gay because most guys seem straight unless it's blatantly obvious. You might have a better chance on dating apps or a gay bar. Or a LGBTQ friendly place. I wish you the best.

He's a mechanic? I have an auto shop w/my husband and I am around men all day everyday. I c sometimes the guys checking out customers wives/daughters.. my husband looks and he thinks I don't c, yea right!
