+1 yHeartbreaks
Nobody is born evil.
The people who break your heart aren’t necessarily evil, they are just people with good and bad sides, with strengths and weaknesses.
You can’t be angry at them, but maybe you can be angry to life and this anger, the feeling of injustice makes you your evil self.
Have you ever seen a happy person who was evil?
Nope.
You can’t be happy and evil.
You are evil when you are sad, broken, left alone, betrayed.
So, when I think of evil people, I see the guilt in myself and society and I don’t victimize myself, because those people wouldn’t be evil, if they had kind people around them…02 Reply- +1 y
Never really thought of it like that… interesting perspective… I think a lot of it has to do with fear. When we are scared of the unknown or start group mentalities (which occurs a lot quicker than you think), that fear manifests into hate and a need to get rid of the “other”. I mostly framed this on the political and social orders of society lol but you get what I was saying.

We cannot forget anger either. Anger and fear mixed together in a society is a recipe for disaster…

That's just it; I don't believe that people who are truly good ever become evil. Some will probably say that it was some traumatic event in their lives that did it, but I've experienced trauma myself (more than once I can assure you) and it made me more sympathetic and empathetic, not less. Why would someone who has suffered pain, but is fundamentally a good person, want to inflict it on others?

Anonymous(45 Plus)+1 yNOTHING! You don't turn evil. You were born with evil.
"Man is evil by nature"
But you also have good in you. Basically it depends on which side you choose to feed. a lot of people will say life, or this world made me evil. Wrong! What they mean is they chose to be evil. They chose to let events change their heart. You always have a choice in life. And I'm not speaking above anyone hear. I've let anger consume me at times before. But while revenge will make you feel better for a time being, it's empty. It's not productive. Choose love in the long run you'll be happier. And the world will be a better place for it.00 Reply"What causes good people to turn evil?"
Getting f*cked over too many times by enough evil people out there.
Trust me, I know.
00 Reply5.5K opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic. There is no one Cause for varied Evil Effects that we see, feel, think, and know they are either right or wrong. Everyone’s “push one over the edge” stimulus is different. We can, however, walk through the process or steps that are taken. Are you up for that❓

+1 yLack of love.
I hate my life, therefore I don't care for others.
How can I give love when I don't have it myself?
Why don't I have it? For all the reasons anyone gets depressed.
Just minutes ago I took a cold shower. You know how it can be difficult to get in there? My motivation was "I hope this cold ass water will kill me". I hear all the time about relatives getting upset for suicides, and if I don't care about their feelings, am i evil?
Is the road to hell paved by blood intentions? I wish everyone could be happy, that's the reason I'm depressed in the first place, because I see shit happening the way it shouldn't be. And not being capable of changing anything is hell. And I'm fine with being evil since I'm in hell already.00 Reply920 opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic. I always answer these the same, that such people were not "good people" to begin with.
They were either wearing a mask, or were of small mind and heart, to slip so easily.
Good people remain good people regardless of circumstances. It's why they are called good people.
If you keep falling for others, then you're a shit judge of character of what are "good people".00 ReplyThe road to hell is paved with good intentions, right? So it's usually someone who sees their actions as a way to attain a better end. There's rarely one single event that sets them off. There's almost always a series of really awful life circumstances that sort of pushes them passed the point of being able to process their emotions in a healthy manner.

+1 yGood and evil doesn’t really apply to humans because everyone believes they’re good. Serial killers and rapists believe they’re good. Cheaters believe they’re good. Pro choice individuals believe they’re good. Good and evil are only ways in which others judge you based on their beliefs, values, and morals/immorals.

+1 yI don't think good people become evil because those are polar opposites. Good people sometimes do bad things but if they have a conscience they will feel badly about it and avoid repeating it. I guess it's possible to have a psychotic break but outside of that there are many negative emotions that can act like little demons telling you to do bad things. Many people are not as good as they come across just like some people are not as bad as they come across, this adds confusion to the issue.

+1 yBetrayal, manipulation, being used, lied and anything that's related to these would make many good progress into evil. It's sad and bad. Some people learn from such experiences and turn into even better versions of them. But unfortunately some people turn into completely evil. It's true and unfortunate. This world needs healing and less liers.

It works quite often actually. I’m the United States it is a bit of a mixed bag but many Scandinavian countries that practice good mental health seem to have great results

I wouldn't know. I'm sure most don't even try. But evil people are capable of good things. Adolf Hitler passed laws to protect animals, Ted Bundy worked at a suicide hotline, Pablo Escobar donated money to charity outreach programs and built soccer stadiums.

Anonymous(45 Plus)+1 yI think in life, bad things keep happening and pushing you until you break. Intelligent people can see that and get help or do something to fight against that. Others give in to it and break and you see it on TV, school shootings, riots, and more. Puti became deranged over time, but why are Russian soldiers raping and killing innocent people? Are they evil? Or are Russian people just born that way?

03 Reply- +1 y
"Money" is not "the root of all evil" as often thought - it's the LOVE of money. "Power" is neither good or evil - it's how you use it that determines which it is.
- +1 y
@loveslongnails Not necessarily. Super rich don't love money because they already have it. But money does corrupt and causes people to do evil things in order to keep that power.
- +1 y
What makes you think the "super rich" don't love money? Of course they do, and they protect it like anyone else protects what they think is essential to them. Money allows the weak-minded to do corrupt things on a greater scale, which may approach being evil in nature. Mostly, it allows them to do stupid things that aren't necessarily "evil", just wrong. But I believe money is only a minor factor in the personality of those who are truly evil. I've known, and know, men and women who make lots of money and are very benevolent in their actions, and that's all I can judge until I learn otherwise.
