A male colleague in my team I had told him I was upset due to making a couple of mistakes and he said “it’s fixed now so I wouldn’t dwell on it”

Is this rude or does he just not really care?

He’s telling you that mistakes happen but that it was corrected. There’s no need to be stressed out about it. But he probably also wants you to be careful not to make the same mistake twice and take it as a lesson learned. If he didn’t care he wouldn’t of said anything.
