Why would a man get mad that I chose plain potato chips for a work party?

We had a brief work party and this 40 y/o man sounded mad i brought plain chips. He kept bringing it up. I almost felt scared.

Someone I know has had issues with a drunk idiot living in her apartment complex. They share a laundromat, and sometimes people aren't there to take their stuff out of the machine when it's done, which is perfectly fine, but that doesn't stop others from needing to use the machine, and this guy would make a fuss when the person I know removed his clothes and placed it in a clean basket or the equally clean table nearby.

Point is, some people are just like that.

Lmao. As someone with food allergies, I hate workplace food parties. I would have been appreciative if someone brought something relatively safe. If he didn’t want plain potato chips he should have brought something else. Some people just want to make mountains out of molehills. You did fine, ignore him.
