Does my make coworker like me?

So I’ve worked in the same place for some time, I have a colleague (I’ll call him jake for the purpose of this) who works in a different unit but the same department, I’m 22 he must be mid 30’s, he always tries to make me jump if he sees me, or he’ll interrupt my conversations with other people by copying what I’m saying or teasing me, if I walk past him and don’t say hi he’ll say “oh hello Jake” to get my attention as I ignored him. He find excuses to touch me. I mentioned some time ago in passing that I was seeing a guy in the weekend when he asked my plans, two weeks later when I next saw him, he immediately asked how it went and started making lude jokes. He always seems to single me out in a group. I’ve asked female coworkers who have known him longer, if he behaves the same way with them and they say no. Does he maybe have a thing for me or am I misinterpreting things

No, I don't think he does hun. Even if he did, that would not be ok. Workplace relationships are usually not only immoral, but illegal as well

Okay. Maybe it is nothing. Well that’s not necessarily the case, different companies, workplaces etc have differing policed on relationships with work colleagues but none the less I appreciate the feedback :)

There are without a doubt policies in most workplaces that prohibit staff from having personal relationships with colleagues, but there is no official law governing workplace relationships so it by definition isn’t “illegal” it may go against work policy, but it is illegal. So your are wrong in that sense

Right. So you’re trying to say if you flirt or date a colleague you could face legal repercussions? The police would get invoked? Be charged with an offence? Have that documented in criminal records? Fined? Face jail time? Thank you for your feedback but you’re wrong. There are no laws in the UK where I live making interpersonal relationships between coworkers ilegal. It is not ilegal.
