What does it mean if a guy turns away and cover his face with his hands?

Me and the guy I like were hanging out, and he began to pat my head, telling me “good job”, cuz I had gotten tired quickly. So to “assert” myself, I lightly moved my head in and bumped it against his chest in a fake head butt. He then turned away, put his face in his hands, and said “can’t argue with that.”
Was he embarrassed? What does that mean?

You should tell him, although he’s being cute, that in most cultures tapping one on head is a sign of Dishonor. He should never do this especially in Travel. One is immediately at enmity with citizens of that country…. Often same with left hand usage as it is a Cursed limb.
