Are you impressed by tall men?

Somewhat impressed, but more fascinated  by these rare anomalies. Of course, "tall" is relative to location, due to the different mix of individuals & people-groups. Objectively speaking, I'm 5ft8in/173cm tall. But back in the Philippines, I (was amazed to realize that I) am considered tall, to the point of finding my exact size of my clothes is 1grade higher even with the same manufacturer that supplies me with clothes here in the U. S. But here in the U. S., I'm pretty much average, if not borderline-short. When I encounter the really towering-high peers, the sight is still a novelty to me. Mentally, I know about the effects of genetics, nutrition, living-conditions, etc. Yet, I constantly find myself asking, "How are they so f—ign tall‽" Unfortunately, my amazed looks have caused some misinterpretations & problems, so I've had to keep this to myself and consciously avoid reacting whenever I encounter them.

No; why would I be? I'm tall, myself, but it's not like it's a great achievement. I didn't work for it, or earn it, in any way, so there's really nothing to be impressed by.

Impressed in which way?

Size of a person does not impress me because it takes other assets of a person such as intellect, personality and character.

Of course, if I met a tall 6'10'' guy in a dark alley at night, I would indeed be impressed by his size but rather on a negative aspect.

What is more important to me is definitely not the size because the size of a person says strictly nothing about the person itself. He could be a criminal or he could have a health issue.

I don't judge people on their looks but solely on the more important aspects of those persons.

It's going to take a lot more than height to impress me. Are you a leader? Are you confident and self-assured? Are you a strong conversationalist? Are you physically and emotionally strong? Are you intelligent? If yes, these things will impress me. Height is just a cherry-on-top, but will not (alone) impress me.
