I think that men and women both need to get it through their heads that not all men are the same and not all women are the same.

So I am not speaking about ALL women here just some types of women.

The type that hates all men or has a skewed view towards them. Personally people like that aren't worth my time. I understand some men have treated you bad but I never did anything to you.

I do not control your bodily functions please don't take your anger out on me if I have not done anything.

I am not responsible for your shitty day don't take it out on me

If you call me or text me at 3 in the morning and there ain't' a problem... There is about to be one. You aren't entitled to me time

If I don't get back with you ASAP I am busy... Give it a rest especially if it isn't anything important.

You are not entitled to look at my stuff. I might let you if I want to but if you don't trust me then you aren't worth my time. What if I am texting my mother or father about personal family issues that I don't want you to see? Ever think of that?

My stuff is my stuff you don't have a right to it.

You aren't entitled to a free meal.

You aren't entitled to have sex with me.

I have the same right to self defense as anyone else and the same right to press charges don't put your hands on me in a violent way or in a sexual way without my consent. (and any white knight who wants to jump in I can kick his ass too legally speaking). Am I going to bash her face in? No but I will use the force to protect myself, my property, and others around me. What if I am defending a woman... Against another woman? But this is rarely a issue.

We men also have standards. One sided relationships suck!!! If you think a man should do EVERYTHING and you have nothing to give in return... Then you are worthless as tits on a boar and you are more of just a burden.

The list goes on and on. Plenty of women don't do this stuff. Some women aren't bad women but... I don't know what goes through their heads. Same for men though too

Our brains are wired differently. What might psychologically help women won't necessarily have the same effect for men.

One common misconception I hear is that venting to others about your experiences is supposed to help overcome trauma or something.

I don't know if it's a me thing or it's a man thing but when I had a nasty breakup and it left me under the weather for years, far longer than the relationship lasted. I've vented to countless friends and therapists and it did not help. The only way I got over it was work on a personal project of mine and finishing it gave me the hope to escape the pit of nihilism.
