We don't choose it we accept reality.
Either a woman is worth investing in or she isn't.
First of all not every woman wants every guy. Social convention dictates that a guy "pursue" women yet so few women want to give a guy any reason to. As a result guys chase what their hormones dictate (no different than women) often to disastrous results. Much like women, guys after a while become dissolutioned by dating and relationships in general. Every woman starts to read like the same story in the same book. Eventually you become an older adult. You accept the single life is just meant for some. Anymore when a women shakes her a** in front of me, tries to use feminine wiles on me. I just smirk and roll my eyes.
On this site women will tell you you hate women If you're a guy that says that. In reality they're projecting their insecurities because their games have little to no affect on you anymore. And I can say that because many of my ladyfriends ( yes I have many of them) laugh when I show them women's reactions on here.
I'm at a point in my life where I don't expect to ever find love. Love, real LOVE isn't just commitment. It's WORK everyday. I know this because I have sisters all who have been married and have STAYED married. From 17 to 36 years. So I see real love.
Most people today want "happiness". Whatever that is to them. But they don't want to give. Either because they've been conditioned to believe it won't be returned. Or they simply don't think that far beyond themselves.
I've said many times that I only have a handful of friends. Because the word "friend" means something to me. I know a great many people. But only a select few earn that title. I'm intensely loyal, and I expect loyalty in return. If I don't you are relegated to acquaintance status in my world.
Sorry if this was long winded. But basically I'm about happiness and positivity anymore. I'm not going to trivialize it.

Why? Because most women just aren’t worth the trouble and stress anymore. I’ve dated in the past and had girlfriends and lovers, but most of the relationships were pretty terrible and they would say mean and insulting things to me.

That’s not even mentioning dating, which is its own stress.

Now at my age the dating pool is smaller and smaller, and I know that I’ve become mostly invisible to women. I can’t remember the last time I felt like a woman actually liked me.

Eventually you just get tired of trying, and it isn’t like any woman wants me to try.

So instead I go to the park and watch the deer and feed the birds like some old man. I’ve just accepted that some people have relationships and families, and some people don’t. I sometimes am very lonely, but it’s a familiar feeling. I can’t do anything to change the situation.

Anyways. I knew a few Kurds in Iraq when I was in Kirkuk. Good people. I hope one day there is an independent Kurdistan.

I really identify with what you are saying.. I'm autistic and I'm starting to fear I'm going to end up at your age and still be single, never having had a girlfriend from more than fucking 6 months.. sadness.

@Juxtapose I mean there are worse things than being alone. You could end up in a loveless marriage with a child who hates you. I’m glad for the relationships I’ve had, I’ve lived with two different women, one for three or four years, and I’m glad for what I learned from the relationships and the experiences I had. I think my longest relationship was 4 years? Something like that.

A lot of what I got out of the bad relationships was learning what I would not, under any circumstances, put up with or accept again. Certain situations that I placed myself in that I came to regret, all just because I didn’t want to be alone.

Honestly? Because it’s easier in a lot of ways. As long as I’m eating, working, sex w a girl who I can call up here and there, I’m good. For me as a male women tend to complicate things more. As an individual im free. I don’t have to listen to all her feelings, her gripes, arguing w her even though she’s wrong but won’t admit it. There’s always some sort of drama. Just cause I live alone doesn’t mean I’m lonely. In a ways I’m a lot happier. I can hang out w my friends whenever. I don’t have to hear nonsense from her, getting mad as to why I came home late. There’s more freedom. Women just bring in so much more emotionally that it can be draining. Plus on my experience women are messier than men and I hate that shit. Dirty ass rooms, their vehicles lol

Live alone you mean? Less legal riffraff and more time to yourself. Some people obviously shouldn't just be left to their own devices all the time, or else their minds will start messing with them, but that can just be remedied by going outside and doing something you like to do.

Have a good friend base, I chose to be single many times and I was able to do what I wanted when I wanted to.
