I'm only 5'8 185 lbs?

How do other small or little guys feel strong and confident? Sometimes I get insecure about my size.

5’8 and 185lbs isn’t small or weak. And no, 5’8 isn’t short… If you want to be “big and strong,” try weight lifting to gain muscle. That’s how a lot of people change their body in such a way that makes them feel more confident and strong.


For example, my boyfriend is 5’8 and ~200lbs, but he isn’t small or weak in the slightest. He is a big stocky guy and he does get insecure sometimes, knowing that he’s “shorter” than most other guys his age. However, he has muscles and he feels strong and confident because he worked hard to get his muscles.


It’s all about mindset though… No matter how hard you try to change your body to be strong or bigger, you have to have a good mindset.

I don't believe that's small or little. But that may be how you view yourself and it's a shame because I don't see you as a small person. WhatThe doesn't either, Lindsie doesn't either. That's saying something.

You are just a bit shorter than average but not small at all.

I am significantly smaller than you and it bothered me as a kid. Now I have gave accepted it and kind of like that it separates me from others.

The best advice is to accept who you are, denying who you are makes you sad. Be a 5'8 guy that any girl would be lucky to have.
