How do I get my male boss to talk to me? He talks to other female coworkers but not me. No rude comments please?

I work at a retirement community and the he’s the evening manager. He comes in at 12 so I do see him during the week but he doesn’t start conversations but I’ve noticed on Sunday when the part time people are there he talks to them and jokes around with them.

Obviously there's some type of problem there, you work with him weekly and he has a better rapport with part-time help

There has to be a reason that he doesn't talk to you and will talk to part-time employees, laughing and joking with them. For some reason he doesn't feel comfortable doing that with you let alone talking to you
