This girl doesn’t seem too interested it seems?
Basically I’ve known this girl for some time now. Met back in college went out a few times, was intimate once, and actually tried to somewhat pursue each other. However, she transferred sophomore year as she wanted to go back home at the time. She kind of went off the grid for a bit from her socials so I had no way to contact her. Fast foward to now, we kept in contact on and off as she added me on social media both my personal and clothing brand page. I’m suppose to visit her hometown for family purposes but I asked to go out sometime with her while there and she said yes. This will happen at the end of the month though so I gotta wait a little till then. Told her not too long ago that it’s been a while I’ve seen her in person and look forward to it and she replied this:
“Aw that’s sweet of you thank you and good morning!
Yes it’s been a long time now I would say. I’m looking forward to that as well”
So now she’s always posting selfies on her stories and I give her compliments here and there and tell her to have a good day but when she replies she seems non interested now:
“aw thanks *my nickname *”
“Thank you, likewise! ”

@turtlewax1994, I refrain from reading too much into texts because they create a communication barrier, they really do sometimes a person can text you excitedly or angrily and to you while you read it it may seem not excited or angry... but don't get me wrong sometimes just sometimes you can pick up a persons vibes through a text message but this is not a common occurrence i think its wayy easier to pick up a persons vibes in person because they can lie to you using their words but their body language will be telling!.

You are definitely overthinking about this, here are some pieces of advice that i am begging you to consider.
1. Try not to comment on every single pic she puts up because then your making yourself seem too available which can be off putting for most women. Try to do other things to get your mind off her I can tell you like her and you probably think about her a lot which is normal but you thinking of her should not cause your life to pause, You have things to do eg. hang out with friends, meditate, take a long drive, etc.
2. Consider the part I said about how texts can be problematic, you can text her after 2 days from today and say something like, I have missed you, seeing your great pictures is awesome but it's not helping me miss you a lot less its actually making me miss you even more so I promise that when I get to your home-town, i'll give you a call so we can plan a date!
this way she'll know your interested in her After you send this text stop commenting on her pics, stop watching her statuses, stop dming her and may be take a break from social media entirely but since you have a business there, you can do your business and text only friends and family stuff like that. Please fulfil your promise of calling her when you get to her hometown to plan a date! then meet her face to face that will tell you how interested she is in you, cause you can see her body language!.

@havenoname, us humans do have a tendency to only show the world our best selves, this is why online dating is a huge scam as well because, you match with the girl/guy based on physical attractiveness and may be common qualities, interests that they listed on their profile then you chat with them and your like wow this person is the best person I chatted to, so y'all set a date to meet up face to face and in person there's absolutely no chemistry. Or you chat to a person on a dating app and you have no chemistry with that person only because the texting back and forth was creating a communication barrier between you two but you decide to block the person and call them boring thinking they are not your match when they actually are because had y'all had met in person you would have realized that you had chemistry and great in person communication. these are a few examples but there are many reasons why it is always better to meet people in person, because that way they will not always be able to hide their terrible qualities and that will help you determine if you can put up with those terrible qualities or not.

@asker tbh I'm smh at most of the relationships I see. I'm of the (unpopular) opinion that most people you meet or see on the street are not stable/self-aware/unselfish enough to be considered decent relationship material. Most people need a LOT of work.
