The way it works for me is if I am attracted to a girl, I will go out of my way to do nice things for her, compliment her, you know, go the extra mile. That would be sort of simp-ish behavior. But the thing is, usually she likes me back, and it's a reciprocal sort of energy. I give, she gives, win-win.

But what can also happen is she's not interested. I shoot my shot, and if she's not having it, I'm not going to keep pursing and try to convince her. I'm actually turned off by a girl who's not interested in me, and I lose interest even if I thought she was attractive before.

For a real life example, there's this girl I work with. Actually, she works for the same company, but we rarely work together. But she was covering a shift one night for someone else, so we ended up working together all night and had a really great "all-nighter" conversation. I realized how interesting she was and started to be attracted to her and think about her a bunch, so I asked her to hang out outside of work and she agreed. We went for a motorcycle ride and a hike out in a wilderness area. It was fun, but she approached me a couple days later and said she thought she maybe gave me the wrong impression and was kind of beating around the bush, but I could tell she was trying to tell me that she wasn't that into me. I didn't stress about it, or get offended or feel rejected or anything. I just moved on and pretty much forgot about her by the following week. I understand but also don't people who pine and yearn for people who don't give two shits about them. To me, that's not just pointless, it's pathetic. And also to be honest, a little bit rape-y. I mean, why would you want to have sex with someone who doesn't want to have sex with you? That's actually the literal definition of rape.

Like people who propose in public and get told "no". Wtf were you even doing asking this girl in the first place? You should know before you even ask that the answer is definitely going to be "yes", otherwise you're being kind of a jerk trying to use public pressure to manipulate someone into saying yes to something they don't want. So they deserve that humiliation they are trying to put on someone else. Yuck.

Honestly I was before this year. Then I change, I got heartbroken, laugh out by girls, insulted, the number of times I got told I was too ugly I can't even count.
But now I am tired and I don't care anymore. I don't want to put any efforts in women anymore. I rather take care of myself and follow my passions. Why would I want to care about women after all this?

I see no point on investing my time, my emotions and money in something that is just going to hurt me. I refuse to put any efforts until I see a girl that shows she's worth it. Honestly if not I'd be totally fine being single the rest of my life. I travel the world, keep in shape at the gym now, I love camping and hiking. So for me it's fine and I accept it. I don't have anymore energy or patients to put out for women anymore.

Under normal circumstances I always treat women with respect. When I speak I speak properly and in full sentences, no short forms and of course I am always straightforward and honest.

That being said, this respect will only last till the time she doesn't do anything that I see as " unforgivable" in my view. If a woman ever does I see as inappropriate and unforgivable then the next instant she will be out of my life forever. It will not take a second for me to throw the woman out of my life.
