Those in the photo look like lush, medium size. Perfect, as far as I'm concerned. They are certainly not overly large.

I've become skeptical or distrustful of bra sizes ever since I heard of the +4 method of measuring.
Cup size is supposed to be the difference between her underbust and bust measurement. 'A' cup = 1" diff, 'B' cup is 2" diff, etc.
The band size is supposed to correspond to her underbust measurement, with maybe 2" extra for comfort. But women are told to add 4" to their underbust measurement. Then the cup size is smaller. Bra manufacturers do this so that they don't have to make a range of cup sizes.
I've seen many examples of women with 24" waists, 28" underbust measurements, and large boobs wearing 32C bras, when, in reality, they should be wearing 30E or 28F because their boobs add at least 6" to their underbust measurement. And you know their ribs are probably 4", not 8" wider than their waists.

So bra sizes really don't tell you much.

Yes, I consider that the start of "big." but no smaller than a DD could qualify.
I consider a D cup to be "average-ish/above average" but definitely not big.
And Cs and under, are small to me. (C's being perky-small, and B's being "barely there.")

By the way, a 36DD is really just a 38D or a 40C. So weight/chest size also matters. A 36DD is going to be small on a heavyset/obese woman. But will be big on a petite woman. A normal sized woman typically has a 34 inch chest, so 36 or 38 inch chest is usually for plus-sized/slightly bigger women. If she's under 160 pounds, then that's probably big on her frame. If she's over 160 pounds, then they probably look small in proportion to the rest of her equally large body.

36DD is small-medium boobs on a medium-large frame.

The person in the picture looks like a 28GG and the bra she is wearing is much too small.

Yes. I have 32DD which I find perfect but at 36DD I'd would start worrying about long term back pain.

considering a 36 band size makes DD breasts look more compatible for a girls figure. their are girls with a band size in the 20s while having natural DD breasts but they look larger due to smaller frame.

Incorrect. Don't trust any data you read on bra sizes because 90% of us wear the wrong bra size. As I said, most women are closer to the E, F, FF range but they're WEARING incorrectly fitted C or D cups.
