Why does my brother show his boxers?

My younger brother is always sagging his boxers. He'll often walk around the house shirtless with his waistband and a few inches of his boxers visible. My brother is quite toned for his age with defined abs and pecs and quite a hairy happy trail so all my girl friends are obsessed with him which makes me uncomfortable. One time his sag was so low I could see his bulge. Can I ask him to stop? Why do guys do this?

I'm shirtless all the time when I'm home. I'm even shirtless outside of the house pretty often.

Well, I don't really do sagging outside the house, but for me in the house, when I'm wearing pants I usually won't wear a belt with them around the house, so they do hang down a little. But usually no more than the band of my underwear are showing. I've had girls see me wearing something like that, and I've answered the door like that before, so I don't really think its a problem being dressed like that in front of people as long as he's comfortable with it.

It sounds like he's just confident in his body like me, so that's why we do it. We just feel comfortable dressed like that and don't mind who sees us. Yea you can ask him not to, but its his choice if he wants to or not.

At the end of the day he can wear what he wants in the house if it’s just you guys I think people should be able to wear whatever they want at home and not get in trouble for it. I do think he should cover up a bit for your friends but when they aren’t there he should be able to wear what he wants. I have a step bro that does the same thing and is also pretty athletic I just roll my eyes but as you said it does have its advantages when your mad! LOL

Honestly just style at this point. A lot of movies show this as “cool” so it has become habit. I am guilty of this also. Not to that extreme but I do have waist band of boxers show some now that I am leaner and am shirtless more often
