Why does he always put his hand in front of my face?

This guy starts several inches from my face with his hand in front (like a high five) until he almost pushes my face then stops and walks away. And he lowers his self and leans in when he does it. Now I'm thinking he might be trying to high five me but his hand is already too close to my face. Stupid question but is this a sign he likes me?

He just didn't have a bag to put over your face so blotted it out with his hand so he could check out your body better maybe?
