How do I end this awkwardness?

I have this guy friend and we used to be besties he would walk with m to my classes we would hang out outside of school since he is my neighbor. I liked him earlier in the year and my friend told him that and he said he sort of likes me but sort of doesn't, after that we stopped talking. he currently has a girlfriend and his girlfriend and I don't get along. What can I say to him to fix this mess I want to start over and be friends again!! He is so nice what in the world do I say when I see him?

I think it is going to be an issue because his girlfriend doesn’t get along with you. That is bad to begin with. She is going to take precedent over you as far as importance. Rightfully so.

If you want to get him back as a friend, start mending the issue with the girlfriend. What is the reason she doesn’t like you? Does she view you as a threat possibly? If that is the case, you’re likely out of luck. If it is another reason, you may be able to salvage something there.

As far as what to say to your guy friend. Tell him how much you value the friendship you two used to have. Make sure he understands your little crush or whatever is over and you really want to get back to the way things were as really good friends.

Unfortunately if you don’t get along with his girlfriend then there isn’t much you can do. Have you tried to talk to her and work things out?
