If someone is average-looking, what lines or euphemisms do you use to make it known to them?

I feel like "average-looking" itself is being used as a euphemism these days.

The truth is that average isn't ugly.

But when girls call "ugly" women "average," then that makes all the average girls feel insecure because now they think that people are calling them ugly.

It's a real mess.
