How does someone qualify to be remembered by you forever? AND What memory do you remember from long ago with the shortest interaction?

Here, I am asking specifically about a memory of a person, nothing traumatic AND of the shortest interaction whether or not you remember the specific person.

There is a scienctific answer but... from your own observation, try to answer my question.

Memories that evoke strong emotion are more memorable.. yet some people's minds help them cope by locking away traumatic memories..

Some memories are still there, far in the back of our mind and rarely resurfaces at uncontrollable random times.

Usually it takes months of ongoing interaction for me to remember a person.

As a sophomore in HS, I was in band. There was a girl I knew. She was nice. We had exchanged greetings, but nothing more. One day, I was collecting my stuff from the storage room when she came in and gave me the most wonderful kiss. Completely unexpected. I still remember the perfection of her tongue. The pressure of her lips. I remember staggering past the busses as I left the school. Oddly, I don't remember anything else. If she said anything. What the chemistry was like as we left the room. All gone. Probably due to blood loss.

some I just saw them, even briefly... some others I spoke with or they spoke to me and I could not say a thing lmao

I do have a very good visual memory yes, but not a gifted one

I've had influential people in my life I've loved very much. But to always remember them? I don't know. I will always do my best to remember my grandmother. Just hope that I can as I get older. She was amazing.
