We were alone in the parking lot and talking. All of a sudden he sat on one keen and tied my shoe lace (without saying anything).. honestly, I didn’t even notice if my shoelaces were undone. And after that we both went quiet. I couldn’t look at him after that. This is the sweetest thing a man has ever done for me (only my father has tied my shoelaces lol). He is around 12 years older than me. Can this be a gesture that he likes me? We have quite a lot going on (stealing glances, smiles, talks, hot n cold vibes) but every time something happens I try to convince myself that am overthinking. Looking for answers. Thank you.

It probably means he has a compulsion of some sort. I mean, if I'd been there I probably would have tied your shoelaces as well (or at the very least have told you they were undone).

Well, I don't know this person, but there are people out there who, when they see something that needs fixing, can't help themselves. There's a term for it: OCD, obsessive-compulsive disorder.

Not sure. We never talked religion. He is European and has travelled a lot. Born and raised in the US though. Don’t know if that makes any difference?
