We ve been hooking up since late June. Wewent on 2 dates, kissed on 1st and had sex on the 2nd.

We went on a 2 week summer trip too where we had mostly sex and fun on the beaches.

He comes over most nights too

However, on 30 July, it was his guy friends birthday. This man and him have been friends for a few years now. The guy threw a party and invited my friends with benefits but my friends with benefits did not take me.

He went himself and celebrated his friends birthday but did not take me.

He came over 2 nights ago and yesterday as welland we texted late into the night but why did he not take me to his friends birthday? He said he was going and how he's been friends with him for years.

Is this a bad sign? That he isn't thinking of me seriously?

He didn't take you because you're his friends with benefits, not his girlfriend. The whole point of having a friends with benefits is that you just f*ck, with no other kind of commitment. If you're not okay with that you should break up and look for a boyfriend.

But last time i saw pics that his best friends girlfriend was also not present at this same guys birthday picnic. Though that picnic was full of men only. This party had female friends

Please re-read your comment, "his best friend's girlfriend". He doesn't consider you his girlfriend, he made it pretty clear. By definition, friends with benefits only have sex and that's all.

From what you wrote, so far your relationship has been 99% sex only (and I am being optimistic here by not saying 100%). I know sex is important, but healthy romantic relationship do not have that kind of balance. And in fact, he hasn't let you meet his friends, so he doesn't consider you his girlfriend, but just a girl to have good sex with.
